Southampton Archaeology Society Registered Charity No. 2 760 70
|
The society aims to promote and encourage archaeology & related studies and stimulate our members’ interest in archaeology and local history by providing appropriate activities and publications.
Lecture Meetings are held from September to April with speakers on a wide range of archaeological subjects. We hold an annual Study Day on a specific subject or period of history, and occasional practical workshops of interest to members and to enable them to practise new skills, and a record of the 2023 Study Day is now available.
Meetings take place usually on the second Tuesday in each month (September - November & January - April). The December meeting would normally include a buffet mainly for members, family and friends (with extra charge); and the AGM is held in May.
